Be part of a movement! Move with Canadians across the country for 14 days and contribute to your cumulative personal and collective goals! Connect with stories and places across Canada. Along the way, earn digital badges for a variety of fun achievements. All activities are welcome, from cycling and running, to canoeing and yoga!
We have partnered with the Canadian fitness app and platform RunGo to track, motivate, and inspire us. RunGo is a GPS running app that provides turn-by-turn voice navigation for custom running routes, making it ideal for exploring new areas safely and confidently.
The challenge will begin on National Health and Fitness Day (June 7, 2025) and end on National Indigenous People’s Day (June 21, 2025). [TBC] Together, we'll aim to reach 243,042 km, the distance of Canada's coastlines.
Join the challenge in one tap in the free RunGo app to add all of your activities to the challenge, or submit manually through the web form (coming soon).
Beyond just going the distance, we'll also have audio-guided verified routes in communities across Canada, that tell local stories and inspire the vision of our initiative and people. You can follow these routes in person, or enjoy them remotely using RunGo's virtual modes. You'll explore surprising audio stories along the way. Just like travelling virtually across the country!

We’re inviting all Canadians from coast to coast to get up, get out and get active to show your support on Saturday June 7th.
Take a friend for a stroll. Walk or bike in the park for a bit of fresh air. Take a break with your family to play outdoors. Share your activities with other Canadians using the hashtag #LetsMoveCanada.
Why? Because exercise is good for our physical and mental wellbeing and contributes to lifelong health and well-ness. And it’s just plain fun!
Join in and you’ll be part of a massive movement around movement.
The intent of this annual week event is to promote physical activity within our urban and rural Indigenous communities through organizing several simple and fun initiatives. IPACC would like to support your community or organization to “kick-off” the National Indigenous Physical Activity Awareness week. Therefore, we will have a NIPAAW Toolkit to support you along with a seven-day campaign to be physically active across Canada.
